WSC VISTA Program

For program year 2011-2012, the WSC VISTA program will be comprised of two programs.  The VISTA Individual Placement (IP) program will utilize VISTA members to achieve the core principles of VISTA (anti-poverty, capacity building, community empowerment and sustainable solutions) for local organizations in the areas of Economic Opportunity, Education, and Healthy Futures.  Click here for a list of project sites.

The second program is Ready*Corps which began as a special initiative to arm low-income communities with disaster preparedness skills in alignment with the CNCS Disaster Services focus area.  For the last couple of years, the WSC has focused on growing the VISTA IP program and will phase out Ready*Corps over this program year.  Click here for a list of project sites.
