WSC/Americorps Team-based programs

Members in the team-based program serve with sponsor agencies that have proposed high-quality projects that develop an ethic of civic responsiblity in those that participate; strengthen communities and help meet needs through service in the areas of education, environmental stewardship, economic opportunity, healthy futures and Veterans and military families. Members help the organizations build their capacity to meet community needs in these focus areas. Teams can be as small as 12 members and vary upwards in size to our largest team, which hosts 70 members.
Members serve in a team environment, but may be placed individually at service sites. Team members meet on a regular basis for training, service projects and team meetings.
