Employer Account Management Services (EAMS)
Employer Account Management Services (EAMS) is a one-stop menu of Internet tools for filing, paying and managing your unemployment tax account.We listened to you about what would make Employer Accounts Management Services (EAMS) easier to use.
EAMS upgrades are now available for your quarterly tax filing this month.
New login procedures:
- User SSN is no longer required for initial login to access unsecured features
- New field names for easier understanding and navigation
- New links to other reporting services (DSHS New Hire, Revenue, L&I, SSA and IRS)
- New printable form to get owner/officer authorization for secured services
Managing access:
- Users can receive immediate authorization – formerly only business owners and officers could
- Added new 3rd party preparer’s role with a printable authorization form for additional access to secured services
- Bulk filing and pay:
- New tool for amendments by 3rd party preparers

Getting started in EAMS
Step 1 - Login to SecureAccess WashingtonStep 2 - In SecureAccess Washington under the My Secure Services menu, select the Employment Security Department, then select EAMS as a service.
Services you can perform with your user login:
- File UI quarterly reports*
- Pay taxes*
- Submit bulk test and production files
- Bulk payments
- Check tax rates
- View and edit your user profile
- Print payment coupons
Requesting access to locked services
Step 1 - At the Available Services menu in EAMS, click the Request Access button.Step 2 - Identify the business and select your role with that business.
Step 3 - Receive authorization.
For users with the role of business owner or officer, access to locked services will be granted by the Employment Security Department.
All other users must submit a request for access and await approval from the business owner or officer before receiving access to locked services.
Services that can be performed with authorized access (displayed with a key symbol):
- File UI quarterly reports with enhanced features including copy wage data; calculate excess wages and saving unfinished work.
- Pay taxes with enhanced features including payment history and the ability to cancel pending payments.
- Amend UI quarterly reports
- Print UI quarterly reports
- View account activity
- Administer user accounts (if designated as an account administrator)
Minimum system requirements
- An active internet connection
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or lower
- Netscape Navigator 7.0 of higher
- Firefox 0.9 or higher (It is recommended that Firefox users upgrade to the most current version as EAMS MAY not work correctly with some older versions.)
- Safari 1.2 or higher
