Moving data to a new computer

Use the Backup and Restore procedures if you still have access to your old computer. If not, follow the steps outlined below:
  • On your old PC, copy the entire UIFTData folder, located at C:\program files\WA_UIFastTax, to a floppy disk, CD or network drive.


  • Install the latest version of UIFastTax on the new PC. If the new PC is connected to the Internet, download the latest version. If the new PC is not connected to the web, contact us and request UIFastTax on CD.


  • Start up WA_UIFastTax and Close the program.


  • Replace the contents of the stored UIFTData Folder to this location on the new PC's hard drive:
    C:\Program Files\WA_UIFastTax\UIFTData
