Hiring fair focuses on social service jobs - June 5, 2006

EVERETT – The Department of Social and Health Services will be recruiting community nurse consultants, social workers, financial-services specialists and customer-service specialists at a series of job fairs in Snohomish and Skagit counties in June.

The job fairs are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, at WorkSource Everett, 3201 Smith Ave., and on Saturday, June 24, at WorkSource Skagit, 2005 East College Way.

Applicants should bring copies of their resume and be prepared to interview with recruitment specialists. There is no charge to attend this event and no pre-registration is required.

WorkSource staff will be available to provide advice and assistance with resumes, interviewing skills and training opportunities.
