Pierce County businesses recruiting for more than 250 workers - September 11, 2006

OLYMPIA – Pierce County businesses will recruit to fill more than 250 jobs at a job fair in Tacoma on Sept. 28.

The event lasts from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the King Oscar Hotel and Convention Center, 8820 South Hosmer St., in Tacoma.

Representatives will be recruiting for entry-level to professional-level positions in the construction, customer service, health-care, manufacturing, transportation and warehouse-operations fields.  

Job seekers should bring copies of their résumé and arrive prepared to interview with recruitment specialists. There is no charge for admission. 

Space is still available for local businesses that are looking to hire. The cost for exhibitors is $150.
