Membership in the Governor's Committee on Disability Issues and Employment
Members volunteer their time and knowledge to support the work of the Committee and benefit the community of people who have disabilities in Washington state.Those interested in membership must be a person with a disability; a family member of a person with a disability; an advocate for people with disabilities; or an employee or volunteer of another disability organization (private or government).
Members must attend three full-committee meetings a year and be active in one or more subcommittees. Meeting-attendance travel costs are reimbursed.

Currently the Governor's Committee doesn't have any openings for 2010. We will be accepting applications for January 2011 appointment beginning in January 2010. The due date for applications is July 31, 2010.
