Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) has ended

Updated December 30, 2013

Under federal law, the Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) program has shut off. We cannot pay EUC benefits for any weeks after December 22-28, even if you have money remaining in your account.

The congressional budget agreement announced on Dec. 11 does not include a provision to continue EUC. If Congress votes to continue the program, we will automatically notify you if you’re potentially eligible.

We have posted some questions and answers on our website with additional information.

If necessary, you may contact the EUC claims center at 877-558-8509 (toll-free) with questions about your claim. However, please be prepared for long wait times.
